Technically, I am lazy for now. After another hard year of school, I think I can be lazy for once. Anyway, I tried to finish up my f4 syllabus though. Physics, for example, but the temptation to watch Terminator again was overwhelming hehe...

Anyway, I did a few relaxing stuffs today coz' of laziness in studying. Blogging now... I :

• watched Terminator I and III (counted as relaxing?)
• baked again, this time, hehe... guess...?? did some hand-made bday cards for my bday friendies too :D

Bee-zee holiday ppl! I'm not gona list down the thingss I gota' do, it'll haunt me whenever i read my blog. SO, after a looong deep breath, I sat down on my bed. Thinking of what to do, I flipped open "1o KEYS TO 10 A s- The Psychology of Top Achievers by HELP College". Interesting... Chapter 1- Am I a thermostat or a thermometer? 5 Tips on How to be Self-motivated Person, Develop Goals in Life etc. Hmm, closed the book, closed my eyes and crossed my hands to pray.

With a heavy head, it is not possible for me to think of something relaxing and beautiful. But then, a beautiful picture had came painting in my head. Marvelling at it, I saw Him in pure white cloth, as bright as the morning sunshine. He sat down, crossed legs on a kopitiam chair (oh yeah? Yeah), marble table. Resting His head on His left hand (He was facing at me), He looked at me with a smile, just a simple yet an assuring one. Inside me, I knew He was ready to be a listening ear. The air was calm, gentle and cooling with a little breeze. This is gona sound weird, but He plucked an apple for me to eat! Reddish-yellowish. Chill, I'm not in Snow White's position.

After the whole chat with God, I was ready again with new hope, and new strength! God has promised me to be my BFF, He was just reminding me again with His gracious smile. He always keeps His promise, never will He break. I know, I trust Him, that is all I need :)

I love to play Uno card game. Playing Uno cards in school was, fun. Skip the loosing part. No joke, but I've never won Uno in my entire life before! Consider me the blurrest among all my friends, I wasn't paying much of attention where they cheated me many times (haha!) by switching power cards with the deck! Grr...ram! Coz' I was about to win, obviously, they WON'T allow it to happen! "Pakatan" la you all :D

Even at home! I tried to play with Derrick the Uno card game. Thinking of winning over the small guy, I actually lost to him, three games in a row!! He got me into a Draw-Twelve stage too!! Malunye!! This genius here, kecik-kecik cili padi. After playing Uno, we played Speed with the Uno cards (new game I've learnt from Yuha hehe).

Then, here comes the heart-to-heart talking. This is for you too, Esther ;)
We were playing this "Guess-what-Esther-is-doing-now" game (gahaha). She:

• Just got back home from work, talking to daddy and mummy about work
• Sits down and rumble with Derrick "Oh I'm gonna miss you! I'm gona miss you" (Before she left for UK)
• Asks "What's on the TV programe now?"
• Goes to the bathroom with the familiar door sound "Boom!" and "clicks" (haha!)
• Occupies the whole computer doing her kononnye assignment

But, not all are suppose to be disclose in my blog (only the siblings knew EVERYTHING nyahahaha). Then we came to a part where Derrick started saying he feels left out everytime in the car when me and Esther do all the talking. So, we better care for his feeling when you get back hehe.

Two From Galilee

I went for the preview of Two From Galilee (TFG) yesterday! It's a wonderful musical production (with lotsa singing and drama, more on singing, duh musical...hehe) from The Canticle Singers (TCS). It's about from how Mary got engaged with Joseph, the carpenter, their love life that is under God's guiding hand, to the day where Jesus was born! The settings were fantastic and interesting! Each scene has different colour and taste of its own.



The three wise men were the funniest of all hee :D

Then this is the scene where the virgin Mary heard the message from God that she will bear a child by God's grace. It shows how God is so powerful and in control of everything.

If you haven't been to a play, then this is a must! =D Tickets are at RM38 and RM58.

Strong and beautiful

Before my finals, I was all stressed up to finish my f4 syllabus
During my finals, I was struggling to digest everything that I've studied.
After my finals, I am so lay back with everything. It's done!

But no!

My Quiet Time momentum with God is gradually decreasing. I've tried so hard to regain my momentum as I've used to experience the joy and peace without any distractions in my QT. Pfft, I've tried really so hard. It's totally unbearable. With quiet environment, I'd get distracted easily in my own world. So I flipped back the pages of Our Daily Journey, and found this title- Strong and Beautiful.

A Douglas fir tree has the quality of being strong and beautiful. But where does it get its beauty and strength? From its roots! The branches bear its fruit by drawing water and nutrients from the vine. "Jesus made the point that the secret to bearing fruit doesn't lie in the strength of our determination, but in our being grafted into the Source of life," by Poh Fang Chia.

In John 15:7, Jesus gives us this promise: "If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!" It is also not an open invitation to pursuit our own interest and selfish desires. But, it presents the truth that when we pray we draw from God the needed resources to produce- writer PFC.

I told Derrick that maybe I need to spend my QT in a not-so-quiet environment, like turning the radio on! In that way, I won't get easily distracted (Since I'm so used to study in a noisy environment). He answered me that 'Jesus wouldn't be happy! I should shut and locked the door when I do my QT.' True. But then I told him that what if I fell asleep? His answer? "Pray to Jesus and ask Him to wake you up laaar..."

You're right bro! I will close my door and do my QT, read the Bible and let the Word remain in me. Maybe, I don't need to try too hard after all.

Pray specifically!

In short, I did my BM papers today. For paper 2 with all the Rumusan, Komsas, Tatabahasa and Novel, the ink of my new pen had gone down drastically!! So imagine the amount of perkataansss i wrote. Time was short. Before I start my paper 2, I prayed this prayer :

By the way, I was like this snail here today

"Dear Lord, I pray for Your wisdom to be upon me that I'll remember all the things I've studied. Help me to finish in time, so that I can check through."

The good Lord helped me to finish IN TIME. I thought I would have more time, but 5 minutes of speed checking????!?!? Wasn't enough laaa... hehe.

So, when the next paper came, I became smarter in my words.

"Dear Lord, ......... (in my own words) Help me to finish in time, so that I can check through, AND enough time for me to sleep~~ too"

I had extra ONE hour and fifteen minutes to sleep after checking my karangansss hehe :D

Drastic change!

The morning was full of mundane, cold and drowning. I dragged myself and my cousin, Adeline to wake up. Hurrying, we washed up as quickly as possible and off we drove to KLIA ( of course my father was on the wheels lol). It was a day full of Goodbyes to my dearest sister! She's flying off to UK for studies!

In a few hours more, I'll be telling her " Esther, u're flying off in an hour! " In those normal days, we used to laugh about it " Esther, u're flying off, like, in a year! ... then in a month! ... soon, tomorrow! ...now, NOW! " So, not funny at all seeing her walking down the escalator and lift and worse, the train! I can't believe it, she's going away from us NOW and I'll be here, without her ='(. I know, i know, skype, msn, emails, fb ... Don't mention them.

Esther, we'll be praying for you loads here n missing you loads too~ Gota suck up my tears into my eyeballs (Yuha's line haha), and be prepared for my boot camp of being independent! I love u SESTHER!

Roadtrip and back

I'm currently suffering from intense pain on my skin. Face, hands, legs and neck! After a day of roadtrip with the Ooh's n Wee's, happy and contented. Tired but loads of fun =D Since Esther is flying off to UK this week (Ulu Klang? haha), it's our last trip together-gether this year.

Calculator Bingo!

I've found out there's an interesting way to make calculator fun besides calculating numbers, or typing your initial and names on it hehe. Get a few people, 5-8 or 10. By the way, recomended calculator- Scientific calculator. I'm sure everybody has at least one. My friend, "claimed" to have "invented" this game taught us well.

For a start, any > 3 digit numbers will do. 369, for example is the first number you enter. Then we go from anti-clockwise and say a number. Christina says 7, but I don't have 7. So I multiply 7 to 369=2583. My number now is 2583. Next person to say is Yee Ling- "4". Again, I don't have the number!

2583x4=10332 (my number for now)

Yuha's turn- "3" Ah yes! I have 3. So, I minus then. (When you have the number, you minus)

10332-330=10002 (Get it? Cos I have two 3 digit numbers)

Now it's my turn to say "1" and I use 10002-10000=2

It so happened Yung Xin said "2" then I use my answer 2-2=0 and

BINGO!!

Of Blurness

The funny thing about starting school on Tuesday is I ALWAYS packed my bags with Monday schedule! Even my teacher, Pn.Suneeta knew my blur-ness since she, knew me the first day! (not taught me lol). So, better be clear for next week's first day at school-Tuesday.

It's our [student] culture on the first day after the holiday, we talked non-stop! We talked when we're on duty (we're all prefects), we talked during assembly, we talked in class before teacher comes in, we talked when teacher teaches ... Ah yeah, we talked too much and BM teacher called me as her target, again, to answer her question! Guess what, she's our Pengetua! Ehehe... Standing there rooted to the ground, I acted as if I knew what she was talking throughout our Komsas lesson. Pfft, my friends kept telling me the answer to her question but I kept getting confused with SO MANY of THEM!

"Kelas, siapa s'krang sama kategori dengan daphne???"

Obviously, I was the laughing stock again for the whole class.

Love coming back to school, following up with my mates, hearing all sorts of stories, most of it went "Ok lah my holiday..." or just "OK!". Good thing my school is just a walk away and loads of funny and embarrassing moment we've been through. Will blog about my mates soon ;)

August Spring Clean, again.

It's my third week of holiday! So I decided to clean my room. I've never felt like a super woman for a very long time. Now that I have a house cleaner on every Thursday, mum pampered us alot. While I was so into cleaning my room, i forgotten to snap photos for Pendidikan Moral Kerja Amal =.= Here's what i did the whole day.

packed and grouped my things, later dumped all my rubbish! Man, I thought i did it for somewhere in March or May holiday. Found some very interesting old stuffs like my lisan paper

Long lost BFF- Faith Colleen Rundi We were very close in school, until she left for home school. That's probably the end of us i guess. I talked about her when I was in Form 2.

Oh, talking about groupings, I placed all my papers- test papers, song sheets, quiet time materials etc. and I found my primary school Pendidikan Seni masterpiece! Oh, the old times... Plus, i didn't know I kept all of my story telling, syarahan, cerita and public speaking competition scripts since my Year 3! Wow, the memories... and junk!
I had to sort out some things my friends gave to me, put them away into my Box Of Tears- both happiness and not-so-happiness. Every time I opened that box, there's this special aura that makes me, nostalgic. So, nobody touches it! Nyek nyek... I created my own Little Office drawer for my stationery too.

After the looong process, I vacuumed, mopped, mopped again, and then sprayed Dettol to kill the germs. I even washed my blanket, pillow case, bed sheet and comforter. By the way, my vacuum cleaner,

Argh! It's already 2am and you're still bugging me? Heelo, exam is on Monday?! Couple more or hours then I gotta sit for Additional Maths and Bahasa. Ei, you! Wait till I get my saviour!

With much frustrations, I on my room light and attemptted my mission- KILL IT! So I waited for 10 miserable minutes with my "alertness" ... Ahah!! Saw you!! Think you're smart enough? But you ain't smarter than me! *Sprays* Less than a second, it vanished! Yea baby!

It bit me four times, the biggest attack was on my elbow- swallon- all done just by one hairy winged-body fella. But I killed it already!

**That same hour mom and bro got bitten by 20 mosquitoes!!

"Choke" of the day

Yeap, I was savouring a piece of dark chocolate, sized as big as a "STUDENT" eraser. Well, I nimbled 1/5 of it, then I decided to stuff the whole big piece into my mouth. Being lazy to nimble it slowly, why not suck and let it melt in my mouth right? HUGE mistake! It nearly took my breath, more like my life away.

I was talking to my friend half way, by accident I inhaled air through my mouth (probably laughing?) and *GULPS* that 4/5 piece of chocolate sized as big as an eraser went straight down my oesophagus without any warning! Waw!! Getting up quickly, I dashed into my house and grabbed whatever liquid that is left on the dinning table. I swallowed two to three times at first on my way, not working! It went down, oh yes, but very painfully. The next thing I know, I wasn't breathing at all! Of course, water! My throat was dry. Surely, that piece of hard chocolate wouldn't go down well. It went down with a horizontal position, and I still can't breathe. I know the Lord has been with me. He told me to cough it out. Cough it out?! OKay! With my painful oesophagus, *COUGHS* on the food where my family members were eating.

"@#$%^**^&%$" ( Definitely not bad words, just some teguran by all of them )
They didn't know what I had went through.
After telling them what had happened, they went "Ooh" and "Wa!" and thanked God.

Oesophagus still painful, and too shocked to recall back. It was a hard but good lesson today.

In a split second, anyone could die of food choking. So please consume slowly, even it's just a small piece/chunk of food. Never take for granted of anything. This is the Choke of the day, not Joke of the day, seriously.

Thank God He was with me, if not, I'm back with The Lord and no longer blog here anymore.

Saturday morning

After prayer meeting at 6.30am, I went home. Sleeping is so important to me, important to everybody too.

No sleep=Get sick.

As i was just about to sleep, already in my slumber land, feels so nice to indulge in the slumber land, suddenly "Daphne ah! You didn't take back my house key?! " Aiyoooo, Ma. I forced my words out from me to answer her "It's on top of the toy chest!" (keeping my cool, about to burst) But okay, being respectful, patient and slow to anger was what I did.

Not long after, once again I enter the slumber land, so peaceful and light as if I'm floating on puffy white clouds. "Beep beep..." Aiyoooooooooo "Daphne ah! Can you take my office key down on the table the round round one okay? Now! I'm late for a meeting in my office..." I uttered my words forcefully again "Yes Daddy..." (still keeping my cool) over the phone with him. Being very patient with the whole hoo-haa, I woke up and passed him the key, searched for his black bag, then went back to bed.

Please, no more disturbance...

Less than ten minutes, hehehe, slumber land, here I come! The joy of sleeping can never be compared to the joy of on line and Face Booking. With an empty-minded mood, I happily slept off (still about to enter the slumber land) *DING DONG DING DONG!!!" Aiyooooooooooooooooooooooo!! The grass cutter outside waiting to cut my house grass!

Treasure Hunt

These days I can't seem to find all my belongings, either I've misplaced it/them, or there's a thief at home, maybe a "batu api" at home trying to stir up some fights. Nah, I think it's me who have misplaced those stuffs. Alzheimer? Short-term-memory (STM) lost? Not at my age hehe.

Just recently, I thought I've given Ma the receipt for claiming the cost of paper plates and cups. Gosh, she said it was me who have taken it! So, we went bingung for two days (definitely not Alzheimer alright). Search search... no result. Still praying very hard for the receipt.

Then, CDs started missing. Daddy said it was me! Me? They should be somewhere at home, or in the cars. I found back my friend's CDs, thank goodness. Now, my favourite nail clipper went missing. Oh dear me, I just realised my worship schedule for CF- lost! Apalah ni daphne... Just these days I'm super busy and in tight schedule till sort of like, not-so an organized person.

Need to pray and rebuke the forgetfulness in this family, not only me, but I've just got started with The Trend. Good thing Ma is always The Finder for everybody, she has the best memory. Well being busy is not a good excuse. Just be more careful next time when placing something.

• As a taxi for me since kindergarden, and now high school
• As a travelling buddy from Mentakab to KL, and all over Malaysia
• As daddy's car to his court cases
• As a fun car buddy to stand at its side while It is moving ( for near distance of coz!) - no seat belts, nothing but just the wind and my buddy
• As my number ONE best buddy to flaunt it to all my friends, coz it's WEE 1166!!

Well, guess I'll miss you so much, buddy! We'll meet till' next time ;)

No electricity, again....

Everyone came out from their room. Esther was number one to "fly up" upstairs ( She was all alone in the dark downstairs haha! )

"No electricity ah?"- Esther. Obviously, she was the one who came upstairs first. I came out from my room, with my hand phone as my torch light, Esther too. Also, Derrick came out his own "torch light"- his Game Boy! Wennie was still snoring in her room, then I heard her switching on and off the switches, haha! " No electricity la,"- Daphne. Mom search for the five real torch lights for all of us. I think dad was in his dreamland that time, until the three siblings said we smelled smoke! Oh no, but it's from outside. He got up and looked carefully, see whether history repeats on 22nd July 2008.

So, the whole night, I tok tok tok to Esther. Suddenly, I saw fire from the outside through my window! The grass in our house caught fire! We all ran out, really, history repeats! I wondered why I can't switch on my hand phone. Panic stricken, we started to step the fire on the grass. We looked at the car porch, fire was so near on my dad's car. The Fire babies itself could jump and dance around! I was in fear. I tried to extinguish them but failed. Running away from my home was what I did. So, ran ran ran....

" Daphne, you're not going to school today, please babysit Derrick today, I've got morning function..."- Daddy Desmond.

Have you heard of the biscuit brand "IKO- THERE'S NOTHING MORE NATURAL " ? (So what they said). I've been eating it everyday in school for recess, nimble nimble in class without getting caught woohoo!

Until today, I got sick with it already. So, I told my bunch of friends : " Aiyo, everyday eat grain biscuit only, feel like eating other food, jelak lahh..." and I got a reply from Yuha : " I know why you jelak, cus you ah, Iko!"

me : **HUHHH??!**

friends : *LAUGHS*

It took me 3 seconds to get her joke.

Just to eat

I think, these few days I've been eating a lot! But I never exercise and that's the lazy part. Fasting season starting on the month of July. Oh man, gotta start cutting down on those food food food~ I'm telling you, my family is a "makan" family. As long as the food is good, we don't mind travelling to that place, just to eat, even it takes more then 100km!

Last Sunday, we travelled all the way to Ipoh just to eat the famous (that's what people say) salty chicken- yim kok gai- and the Ipoh taugeh. Yea yea, the food tasted not too bad. We lingered in the hotel for awhile ( till 8 pm ) with the Singaporean (cousins and their friends) and reached home at 11.57pm! As usual, the familiar phrase popped out again : "Ma... Tired... Not going to school tmr..." hee hee =D

When we were back in Kuantan, everytime, for sure we'll travel up to Kemaman just to eat the stuffed crab. Midnight, Uncle Mike will take us all to Kuantan Kopitiam and continue eating. Jiak jiak jiak non stop! Back then in KL, we'll travel all the way to Sg.Buloh just to eat Thai food. "It" ...

I did the laundry, scrubbing all the undies, socks etc. and up jumped the "troll" ! It was "it" ! At anytime "it" could launch its attacks at me. Okay okay, chill, just get Shieldtox. Right, and when I got down to defend myself, oh no! Within a split second, "it" was gone! I still had to scrub the dirty laundries before the sun goes down. So, scrub scrub scrub ... under the watchful eyes of my enemy. By the way, the maroon fatty fella was fatter than a durian seed, about the size of it (ewwh~). I even encountered spiders and centipede all in that one miserable moment of washing, pfft. Just a day of washing and I kena bullied? Mom mengetuk kepala ku, saying "Hello, who's bigger in size now??"

Anyway, when I came back from Kuantan (yesterday) four days after that miserable hour, I saw "it" again! I think same fella, same size, same tone colour, same cockroach lahh...

" I see cockroach, biggie fatty one,

I see lizards, creepy crawling ones,

Come and get me and we will have war ... "
