Israel Houghton and his heart

His songs are a legacy. We sing his songs almost on every Sunday morning service. So I decided to google him up and watch some of his worship sessions on youtube. His song arrangements are superb, but his heart and love for people and God are more than anything else.

And my friend encouraged me with one of his songs, that God provides and it is abundantly, more than enough. (My ears are so tune in to the pianist :) )

Realization

Jesus, Your Name is above all names!

Your name is higher than the heavens, higher than all created things, higher than my hopes, higher than my dreams.

When I call upon Your name, I find my safety.

When I look closely to God, ALL my problems, big and small grew smaller.

Think of the biggest thing you could even think of... Well, God is bigger than that thing you just thought of.

And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us, and if our God is with us, then what could stand against.

I thank You for the hardships I'm going through.

It made me realized that I was so comfortable sitting down, complacent and as if I do not need Your help. That's being lukewarm. That's a BIG NO NO!

There's so many things to pray for!

Anyway, it was a good session of singing my heart out to You with some play-along from Youtube.

Inspired

Jon Schmidt is awesome! Now I recalled who is he from the second song Pachelbel Meets U2 Alex Foo sent to me. He's super skillful man. I'm also very inspired from Jon Schmidt's friend to pick up cello after seeing how beautiful he played nyek nyek! Lots of love to these songs!
(Thought I've heard of these songs many times, just found out that they are from the same guy, talk about me being blur yes, now I would just like to share them with you :D )

Also, he did the first song for his seven-year-old daughter because she loved the song she heard in the car with her daddy...so sweet!

Enjoy these three soothing songs! The last song is more of a I-Want-To-Play-Like-Him type hehe.

I'm so excited! Parents are going off to UK soon and when they're back, someone's back too!!!

Sis talked to me yesterday, Oh man, gonna miss her so madly when she'll be gone for the next TWO years!! *stares at sis* Kita sama-sama crap like crazy man!
