Breakthrough

One of my most favourable passage in the Bible is the big faith of a woman who desperately need God's healing-her suffering from a bleeding condition for 12 years!!

She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His robe. For she thought to herself, "If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed"--Mark 5:25-34.
By just a touched the fringe of His garment, in simple and complete faith, her bleeding stopped, a breakthrough was what she had experienced. That incident, made me question my faith on how much I put on God. We live by faith and not by sight--2 Corinthians 5:7--is a breakthrough for me n you.
I want a breakthrough too, where is that joyful and grateful spirit I felt then? Where is my passion in praying fervently? Where is God to rekindle my fire for Him? Pffft...
Breakthrough, breakthrough, faster come true,
I hope that I'll hold on to the truth,
be joyful in hard times, hardships, endure through the pains.
God, refill my empty cup once again.
Easier said than to be done,
easy to be reminded too.
Like I'd said,
Breakthrough, breakthrough, faster come true.

SnoreOver

Woohoo! This song, especially the chorus is kept in my brain for many many hours! (Cus i cannot remember the verse for it, hehe)

There is none like our God,
There is none like our God.
Greater things are yet to come,
Greater things are yet to be done in
the city~!
Yes I'm loving it!
I missed the sleepover.
I missed the fellowship, lots, the most.
I missed the mangkuk-ness we had.
I missed the shower time (maybe not the cold water) when we talked so loudly that the boys could hear everything from their bathrooms.
I missed the pang-sai modern day drama we made up, my group won woohooo! We translated Negaraku into English, better not blog bout it, ministers come find us later, hehe.
I missed the worship sessions.
I missed our game stations n the 400 pushed-ups (wooh, torture chamber)
I missed the time we had, till 3.45am we stayed up (oops) n wakeup at 7.15am.
Did I sum up everything bout it? Most of it.
Overall, it was a fruitful sleepover we had, many felt the presence of God, was slain, got visions from one anointed pastor. We count down Merdeka inside out the building n watched fireworks (from the glass window only, haha.) I had my own testimony too, already shared among the youths during sharing n evaluation when the stone was aimed at me (the more u wished not to share, the more the stone comes forward to u, really wan!)
One vision, One aim, One mind, One soul, One body in Christ- Revival taking place in Malaysia.
Photos are on the way, school's starting, one more month to go for my PMR =D

He just answered me :I'm not too sure, the Holy Spirit prompt me to get for my daughter.
Double Whuah!
I'll never forget what daddy just said.
Then i told him what i'm telling u all now ;)
Praise Him, just a simple prayer, God will not never answer it by His will =)

The Awards Ceremony

Date: 7th August 2008 (OO Beijing Opening Ceremony's 2mr!)
Time: 4pm
Venue: Taylor's College
Weather: Raining like "miows" and "woofs"
Mood: Should-I-go-or-not?

I need to study la, trials trials trials on Monday. That was the dilemma I had. Ended up, arrived at Taylor's, woohoo~ (Glad that I went tho') Seeing my sister get her awards, soo formal in a small hall, filled with "orang kebesaransss" from different law firms. Wow I tell you! And the temperature was freakin' cold! See the butterfly? It was designed creatively by one of the law students, nicee~

And then there's Miss Esther Wee. What awards? Go dig out from her, hehe..

Tell you, these two ladies looked familiar, but i never knew them. The left looked like Jennifer JChung (Check out in youtube, she sings soo well =D) And then on the right, looked like a friend of mine-Dora Jemima.. ahaha!

Guess what? Everyone's studying law in that "area", me being slightly "kiasu" brought this-->

HAHA! SEJARAH PMR!! *Hides face* Irony? But i didn't took it out ok?! Just needed to secure myself that I brought books out, teehee..

Too much of studying (especially law) can be like this--->

So study at a moderately speed!! haha!

Had my zits!

The end~ ;)

Fire night

House caught on fire, electric circuit caught on fire. Another encounter by my family. It happened on Monday 11.47 PM, nearly midnight. Daddy smelled something fishy while drinking water. Looked out, saw fire on our electric circuit, outside the porch. He yelled fire! At first it doesn't register into me n Esther's head, my cousin watching her drama, mom n Derrick sleeping. So yea, half way doing my facial wash, we need to dash downstairs!! Hello? House on fire?!

Many were trying to put out fire. Some suggested, nono, it's a straight away action wanna use the hose to extinguished the fire! But remember? Electricity doesn't go with water. So, panicked!! What's the number? Who to call? 999? What now? Eh where's Derrick? So the kelam-kabut-ness happened. Yea, it's easy to say "Call the bomba la, run out of the house, take important docs out, save your life! " than taking action. When the real thing happened, we all went bizzard!

We blew whistlesss, dialed numbers, contacted people, yelling at the neighbours frantically to come out of the house especially our neighbours. Esther and Winnie went n told the guards, he too got panicked and asked them go find the other guard down the lane =.= What the?

What an experience! What a birthday present to our friend, it was his birthday on that wee hour 12.13 am, 22nd July, when we called him to help us contact the bomba! And he thought it was a prank! So hard for us to register "OUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE!!" statement into his head too..haha! Poor guy! Best!

And so the sleeping time was 3 AM with mosquitoes everywhere! This time it was a LIGHTS-OFF night for all of us! Suffered for two days without electricity (off-on-off). Memorable~

Details on this coming Sunday i guess, nyahaha~

Nice meeting you, yes??

I encountered with this New Zealand born-like child, 8 years old, looked innocent (well please think twice for those who saw her at LMCP), this little girl with blond hair. Well, she dragged me up to the Sunday School area, pushed me into the room (WHAT THE?!) n locked me inside, slammed the door shut RIGHT AT MY FACE (WHOA~!). I tell you, this kid was amazing. I came out from the room, stormping, looked at her. GUESS WHAT?! She slammed me on the glass door (half gently) beside the Sunday School, and asked,
"What's inside?! *big-bully voice* "
Nyahaha, show time for me to her, that's what i guessed inside.
So I replied her with a so called mean voice,
"My daddy's office!".
"You have a DADDY?!"
Oh man, she can say THIS to me! (But eventually we both laughed at each other) So, we gurls went down, met my friend's dad.
Dad : What you two doing upstairs?
Me : (Trying to cover up, so i used in Chinese language) I went upstairs just to get some slams and locks by this girl here. She locked me in the Sunday School !!
Dad : (replied in Chinese) Maybe she needs to pee?
Me : (in Chinese) Yea right! I guess not!
To my astonished, horrified.....
That Kid : What's your name?
( IN PERFECT FLUENT CHINESE ACCENT!!!!!!!!!!)
With my embarrasement.. I dumbly replied her
Me : Hhherrrppmkmprmp... "Huang Yan Qi" (My name in Chinese)
Laughed my way off that morning!! But it was a good start though, haha! My first encounter with kids-these-days traits.
So Moral of the story----->
Think kids are innocent these days? Communicate and encounter them then get the answer ;()
Guess I'm gonna miss her, and her cute 3-year-old lil sister with glasses, ahaha! Coz they are going back to Seremban. They migrated to Malaysia 4 years ago ;)
