August Spring Clean, again.

It's my third week of holiday! So I decided to clean my room. I've never felt like a super woman for a very long time. Now that I have a house cleaner on every Thursday, mum pampered us alot. While I was so into cleaning my room, i forgotten to snap photos for Pendidikan Moral Kerja Amal =.= Here's what i did the whole day.

packed and grouped my things, later dumped all my rubbish! Man, I thought i did it for somewhere in March or May holiday. Found some very interesting old stuffs like my lisan paper

Long lost BFF- Faith Colleen Rundi We were very close in school, until she left for home school. That's probably the end of us i guess. I talked about her when I was in Form 2.

Oh, talking about groupings, I placed all my papers- test papers, song sheets, quiet time materials etc. and I found my primary school Pendidikan Seni masterpiece! Oh, the old times... Plus, i didn't know I kept all of my story telling, syarahan, cerita and public speaking competition scripts since my Year 3! Wow, the memories... and junk!
I had to sort out some things my friends gave to me, put them away into my Box Of Tears- both happiness and not-so-happiness. Every time I opened that box, there's this special aura that makes me, nostalgic. So, nobody touches it! Nyek nyek... I created my own Little Office drawer for my stationery too.

After the looong process, I vacuumed, mopped, mopped again, and then sprayed Dettol to kill the germs. I even washed my blanket, pillow case, bed sheet and comforter. By the way, my vacuum cleaner,

Argh! It's already 2am and you're still bugging me? Heelo, exam is on Monday?! Couple more or hours then I gotta sit for Additional Maths and Bahasa. Ei, you! Wait till I get my saviour!

With much frustrations, I on my room light and attemptted my mission- KILL IT! So I waited for 10 miserable minutes with my "alertness" ... Ahah!! Saw you!! Think you're smart enough? But you ain't smarter than me! *Sprays* Less than a second, it vanished! Yea baby!

It bit me four times, the biggest attack was on my elbow- swallon- all done just by one hairy winged-body fella. But I killed it already!

**That same hour mom and bro got bitten by 20 mosquitoes!!

"Choke" of the day

Yeap, I was savouring a piece of dark chocolate, sized as big as a "STUDENT" eraser. Well, I nimbled 1/5 of it, then I decided to stuff the whole big piece into my mouth. Being lazy to nimble it slowly, why not suck and let it melt in my mouth right? HUGE mistake! It nearly took my breath, more like my life away.

I was talking to my friend half way, by accident I inhaled air through my mouth (probably laughing?) and *GULPS* that 4/5 piece of chocolate sized as big as an eraser went straight down my oesophagus without any warning! Waw!! Getting up quickly, I dashed into my house and grabbed whatever liquid that is left on the dinning table. I swallowed two to three times at first on my way, not working! It went down, oh yes, but very painfully. The next thing I know, I wasn't breathing at all! Of course, water! My throat was dry. Surely, that piece of hard chocolate wouldn't go down well. It went down with a horizontal position, and I still can't breathe. I know the Lord has been with me. He told me to cough it out. Cough it out?! OKay! With my painful oesophagus, *COUGHS* on the food where my family members were eating.

"@#$%^**^&%$" ( Definitely not bad words, just some teguran by all of them )
They didn't know what I had went through.
After telling them what had happened, they went "Ooh" and "Wa!" and thanked God.

Oesophagus still painful, and too shocked to recall back. It was a hard but good lesson today.

In a split second, anyone could die of food choking. So please consume slowly, even it's just a small piece/chunk of food. Never take for granted of anything. This is the Choke of the day, not Joke of the day, seriously.

Thank God He was with me, if not, I'm back with The Lord and no longer blog here anymore.

Saturday morning

After prayer meeting at 6.30am, I went home. Sleeping is so important to me, important to everybody too.

No sleep=Get sick.

As i was just about to sleep, already in my slumber land, feels so nice to indulge in the slumber land, suddenly "Daphne ah! You didn't take back my house key?! " Aiyoooo, Ma. I forced my words out from me to answer her "It's on top of the toy chest!" (keeping my cool, about to burst) But okay, being respectful, patient and slow to anger was what I did.

Not long after, once again I enter the slumber land, so peaceful and light as if I'm floating on puffy white clouds. "Beep beep..." Aiyoooooooooo "Daphne ah! Can you take my office key down on the table the round round one okay? Now! I'm late for a meeting in my office..." I uttered my words forcefully again "Yes Daddy..." (still keeping my cool) over the phone with him. Being very patient with the whole hoo-haa, I woke up and passed him the key, searched for his black bag, then went back to bed.

Please, no more disturbance...

Less than ten minutes, hehehe, slumber land, here I come! The joy of sleeping can never be compared to the joy of on line and Face Booking. With an empty-minded mood, I happily slept off (still about to enter the slumber land) *DING DONG DING DONG!!!" Aiyooooooooooooooooooooooo!! The grass cutter outside waiting to cut my house grass!

Treasure Hunt

These days I can't seem to find all my belongings, either I've misplaced it/them, or there's a thief at home, maybe a "batu api" at home trying to stir up some fights. Nah, I think it's me who have misplaced those stuffs. Alzheimer? Short-term-memory (STM) lost? Not at my age hehe.

Just recently, I thought I've given Ma the receipt for claiming the cost of paper plates and cups. Gosh, she said it was me who have taken it! So, we went bingung for two days (definitely not Alzheimer alright). Search search... no result. Still praying very hard for the receipt.

Then, CDs started missing. Daddy said it was me! Me? They should be somewhere at home, or in the cars. I found back my friend's CDs, thank goodness. Now, my favourite nail clipper went missing. Oh dear me, I just realised my worship schedule for CF- lost! Apalah ni daphne... Just these days I'm super busy and in tight schedule till sort of like, not-so an organized person.

Need to pray and rebuke the forgetfulness in this family, not only me, but I've just got started with The Trend. Good thing Ma is always The Finder for everybody, she has the best memory. Well being busy is not a good excuse. Just be more careful next time when placing something.

• As a wedding car for my ayi
• As a taxi for me since kindergarden, and now high school
• As a travelling buddy from Mentakab to KL, and all over Malaysia
• As daddy's car to his court cases
• As a fun car buddy to stand at its side while It is moving ( for near distance of coz!) - no seat belts, nothing but just the wind and my buddy
• As my number ONE best buddy to flaunt it to all my friends, coz it's WEE 1166!!

Well, guess I'll miss you so much, buddy! We'll meet till' next time ;)

No electricity, again....

Everyone came out from their room. Esther was number one to "fly up" upstairs ( She was all alone in the dark downstairs haha! )

"No electricity ah?"- Esther. Obviously, she was the one who came upstairs first. I came out from my room, with my hand phone as my torch light, Esther too. Also, Derrick came out his own "torch light"- his Game Boy! Wennie was still snoring in her room, then I heard her switching on and off the switches, haha! " No electricity la,"- Daphne. Mom search for the five real torch lights for all of us. I think dad was in his dreamland that time, until the three siblings said we smelled smoke! Oh no, but it's from outside. He got up and looked carefully, see whether history repeats on 22nd July 2008.

So, the whole night, I tok tok tok to Esther. Suddenly, I saw fire from the outside through my window! The grass in our house caught fire! We all ran out, really, history repeats! I wondered why I can't switch on my hand phone. Panic stricken, we started to step the fire on the grass. We looked at the car porch, fire was so near on my dad's car. The Fire babies itself could jump and dance around! I was in fear. I tried to extinguish them but failed. Running away from my home was what I did. So, ran ran ran....

" Daphne, you're not going to school today, please babysit Derrick today, I've got morning function..."- Daddy Desmond.

Have you heard of the biscuit brand "IKO- THERE'S NOTHING MORE NATURAL " ? (So what they said). I've been eating it everyday in school for recess, nimble nimble in class without getting caught woohoo!

Until today, I got sick with it already. So, I told my bunch of friends : " Aiyo, everyday eat grain biscuit only, feel like eating other food, jelak lahh..." and I got a reply from Yuha : " I know why you jelak, cus you ah, Iko!"

me : **HUHHH??!**

It took me 3 seconds to get her joke.

Just to eat

I think, these few days I've been eating a lot! But I never exercise and that's the lazy part. Fasting season starting on the month of July. Oh man, gotta start cutting down on those food food food~ I'm telling you, my family is a "makan" family. As long as the food is good, we don't mind travelling to that place, just to eat, even it takes more then 100km!

Last Sunday, we travelled all the way to Ipoh just to eat the famous (that's what people say) salty chicken- yim kok gai- and the Ipoh taugeh. Yea yea, the food tasted not too bad. We lingered in the hotel for awhile ( till 8 pm ) with the Singaporean (cousins and their friends) and reached home at 11.57pm! As usual, the familiar phrase popped out again : "Ma... Tired... Not going to school tmr..." hee hee =D

When we were back in Kuantan, everytime, for sure we'll travel up to Kemaman just to eat the stuffed crab. Midnight, Uncle Mike will take us all to Kuantan Kopitiam and continue eating. Jiak jiak jiak non stop! Back then in KL, we'll travel all the way to Sg.Buloh just to eat Thai food. But now, we had found other tastier nearer save-petrol Thai Restaurants already :D I'm just so blessed to have food to eat, I could even choose what food to eat! So I eat, and continue to eat. But " Man shall not live by bread alone, but by the Word of God".
Eat to live, but not live to eat hehe!

"It" ...

I did the laundry, scrubbing all the undies, socks etc. and up jumped the "troll" ! It was "it" ! At anytime "it" could launch its attacks at me. Okay okay, chill, just get Shieldtox. Right, and when I got down to defend myself, oh no! Within a split second, "it" was gone! I still had to scrub the dirty laundries before the sun goes down. So, scrub scrub scrub ... under the watchful eyes of my enemy. By the way, the maroon fatty fella was fatter than a durian seed, about the size of it (ewwh~). I even encountered spiders and centipede all in that one miserable moment of washing, pfft. Just a day of washing and I kena bullied? Mom mengetuk kepala ku, saying "Hello, who's bigger in size now??"

Anyway, when I came back from Kuantan (yesterday) four days after that miserable hour, I saw "it" again! I think same fella, same size, same tone colour, same cockroach lahh...

" I see cockroach, biggie fatty one,

I see lizards, creepy crawling ones,

Come and get me and we will have war ... "

Today's yesterday.

I went to pick up my brother today from school. Waw, surprisingly the jam was smooth today to Bukit Jalil. Ah, the familiar environs of primary school, Sekolah Kebangsaan (mine was Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina, yep almost the same lah...)

I watched the kids, so cutee and tiny and small and eenie meanie little boys and girls toddled out to the bus stop where i was in the car with my sis. There was this girl in her baju kurung sat down at the corner of the smuggled floor, trying her best to close her lock-and-lock file, but the other end of the file kept opening when she closed the another end of the file! Poor girl! Another bigger sized girl lifted up her baju kurung skirt highly, se-lam-ba-ly adjusting it... Also a short haired kid was picking her nose PUBLICLY right in front of me and sis, waw! Awesome, even the adults couldn't do it haha... Talking about primary kids, it is now the In-Thing for them to carry a sling bag like us, high school kids, teens. Except theirs were Barbie Dolls and Transformers *smiles* My time was Easy-Bag style, remember? Just one pull and the bag went weeee~

The school had their Pendidikan Seni test today. Guess that proved why a girl's sleeves was all smudged up with paint on her white uniform. Now comes the classic ones. A Mak Cik came trotting down the aisle with a large plastic semi-transparent container filled with drinks- 100plus, orang juice, mango juice, coke, kotak air etc. Yep, drink haven for the kids in one hot afternoon! Best part was me and my sis saw them dangling their 20 cents ice cream in a long plastic ones. Do you remember? They sold 10 cents in our old days. But now? I bet it is like 20-30 cents.

Just Another Day

Whossh.... tell you, 3 weeks of TEST is able to drive you nuts! Today more laid back, tomorrow civic and PJK, am I not a civic minded person already? Negaraku yang kucintai (sebenarnya MASIH belajar untuk mencintai) Well, I lost my pencil titi! My pencil titi has been with me since Standard 2! It was a name I called it once upon a time in a far far away town Mentakab- mechanical pencil! Good thing bro was kind enough to lend me his black one. Man, i thought it was some "bear bear" of "orange glitters" pencil titi when you pressed the lead, it came out SO long! Irritating... But it turned out nicee to use- Fiesta 0.5.

During Sejarah, instead of me sleeping, normally (after finishing the paper), the ustazah slept!! Class went hoo-ha copying answer. One guy even went out of class to pee... without a pass...funny lar...

Lost and found

I've promised myself to blog bout it! Guess what, I left it in school yesterday. Terlalu busy having photo sessions in school until terlupa what was I holding in my hand - Plastic bag with my uniform inside! *holds breath* Mom's gona get me! Mom's REALLY gona get me! Last night (or should I say this early morning at about 0030) I baru realised it went missing!! What the, after one day.. Imagine me searching it high n low in the wee hours, so I prayed, fervently. Morning came, dad prayed for me in the car, good thing mom wasn't fetching me today nyek nyek! I went for prefect's roll call (pfft..), stood still but eyes were scanning my surroundings. Ahah! There! Sitting down quietly on the assembly stage.. Only my angle could see it! Praise the Lord~ I do not need to search high n low in school...

Owh, malunye when I went and took it in front of 3000 students! Hee!

Simple prayer to Jesus

We had combination of Bio, Physics and Chemistry quiz competition today (ranking from my best subject,heh). I've got no intention for this competition, quiz starting at 9am, and I've got to know that I'm in (the whole class diwajibkan, blur the whole day) at 8.55am! Best timing huh!! So, I was in Black group (we actually switched, nyek nyek!) Soon, the big brains were working hard, slumber hard for the quiz. Winner gets hamper. I said a simple prayer that we'll at least win something, and left the results into Jesus's hand. After prayers, I kept hearing my friends uttering "die lah, won't win wan.." "We're not that smart also la..." "i think we're the dumbest group..." or something like that, and I kept binding those curses that took away the blessings of my prayer just now. Actually, I also never hope much of winning anyway, all of us didn't study of flip through =D BUt I just hope in Jesus. I've counted approximately 4 times, words of discouragement were being uttered unintentionally. Results were out, we've got 1st-runner-up! Lost by 4marks to the champion!

For our drama case, a few of us gathered ourselves to pray that we'll win champion, hoping in Jesus, not only we won champion, plus best performer! Even when playing games in our MYF (abit kiasu haha!) I remember to pray that my group will win, and yep we did win! I think I've blogged about my prayers being answered for not getting leech bites, and how miraculous a S-size YLDP 2008 t-shirt popped out for me!

Just simple prayers and by believing them, our prayers will always be answered by Jesus. That just brings me more hope to pray everyday, about everything-studies, health, life, family, friends, ministry, future partner etc.

Drama Season, again

Yea yea! we won the first round as champion (zon level only), and Alex (James, father-husband-son in this drama)got the best performer. Hmm, last year was the sister, Caitlen in state level. Guess it runs in the family huh?

Next round coming up!! Tuesday, at Sek 18 Shah Alam, 6 schools again, n we think they are all pros! Scared also.. Ada standart, so kita pun mesti ada standart!

Everyday polishing up n perfection. We switched THREE roles cus Caleo is off to Korea. Woh, major work to be done, especially voice projection and new arrangement of props. I'm playing the Ama role, tsk tsk tsk, need lots of Strepsils after the naggy so-not-me voice projection. Ama with the wig, dumb blond look =D Ama also very potong want, manja-like, know what she wants only? Her porridge, cough syrup and her Bonsai plant hee! That's all she cares.

Scalp care?

Itch itch itchy la... i dont like to wear wig! especially those RENTING wigs, alamak!!

Okok, last year's tragedy was my face with rashes n scars (getting better =D), this year i better hope for nothing like having itchy scalp. (yucks!!) apalah....

Many people have wore it duh, and, euh! Who knows whether male or female, (i think those dirty and untidy ones) who doesn't wash their hair!! Maybe it is also because the wigs were stored simply in the shop, the owner could have just chucked them into one basket, not knowing what else is inside there, never mind, i don't wana know anyway. Urghhh, yucks!! I HAVE to wear it for drama competition, pfft.. Not only itch my scalp, making me miserable, but also I look like a dumb blond man! By the way, i'm an old naggy granny who nags about her cough syrup at her inconsiderate son.

Hmm, alternative, i shall get myself a shower cap man, to protect my precious scalp. Nah, i think it will be a MUST now hee!

hohoho!! merry Christmas! Weather these days like siao only, suddenly sooooooo cold, to suddenly soooooooo hot, n comes the "KABooOOooM" today!! In Bandar Kinrara (BK) Wah, BK quite happening eh, so BKrians, pls be proud of BK, BK Boleh! hee! Okok, cheer time is over. So, yesterday's weather was freakin' cold, rained n rained n rained, i sneezed n sneezed n sneezed, my sneezing=weather forecasting, dun main-main ok? hehe..reli wan, not bluffing u. But now, ever since I started eating the fish liver oil thingy, capsules n Spirurina, I feel so celik these days, hopefully will not have to forecast any weather anymore. Gud thing my nose didn't come out cus it was a hailstorm today!! gakjdhajml... Nyek nyek!

We were having drama practice again for this year's competition, next tues, laughing all the way for stupid stunts n farnie jokes, drama team people (DT) are real jokers, yeap. Suddenly, one of us shouted "Ahhh! Ice! Ice! Ice! Quickly come out n see! Looks like snow!"

Yea rite, snow in Malaysia?

The next thing I know, everybody dashed out to see what's going on.

Pfft.. Khatulistiwa konon la.. But really, and it got heavier n heavier, not cats n dogs, but cows n buffaloes! Booong! It was as large as Mentos gums n as hard as solid rock, *kong, ouch! Painful. We stared in horror n disbelieve, HAILSTORM!! Everyone went panicked! screaming all around, lightnings reached our school field n compounds, then the dark blurry sky as if it was ready to swallow us into it, plus a few of us witnessed ice swirling in the air by the strong wind! We, the DT got stuck and have no place to run, stuck in the koko classroom, nowhere to go, windows were broken therefore ice came crashing into the room like nobody's business. Oh man! Wind howling n shrieking made us having goosebumps! Gurls started crying, actually, the situation was out of control, terrible, stopped and rained heavily again, we had mini cyclone in the school assembly place, open air, all of us cant run away from the torment of getting wet. Nobody could escape, no warm place and shelter for us to hide, everywhere we go, hailstorm is ready to catch us, just like Ice and Water (know the game rite? Fun kiddo kejar-kejar game).

Thank God everything was cleared by 5.30pm. Uncle Daniel picked us up, caught in a massive jam, parents searching their children frantically, pupils queueing up long lines to call their papas n mamas. Yep, goood experience, only can be found in Bandar Kinrara only today ;)

KL cats....

.... are so daring!! Many times i've encountered THEM, ask my mum, she has alot of experience and named them-- (in hokkien) "Dua Da" cats! They eat the fish bones in the rubbish bin in the kitchen when my mommy was cooking weh! Just next to each other, human n cats, but they are like kings..

Think they are all sweet, chubby, fluffy, fatty, skinny or names u alwis call them, especially the famous "Awh the eyes sooooooo big, soooooo round like mata kucing, soooooo cuteeee~!" think again for the KL cats, warning, especially the Bandar Kinrara ones hee! Man i'm telling u, they could just walk right into ur house, with you sitting IN the house, yeah!! No need to check ppl around or not, they don't care bout u, it's as if their own "house", pakai hentam je. No matter how scary u look at them, or we "BAHH!! GAAAH! SHOOOOH!!!", and stomp our feet "chomp chomp chomp thump thump thump" like an old granny, bluffing them to go away, ehehe, better think of another plan B n C. They are NOT afraid of u! Just today, I wanted to play my game with this innocent looking fella, take a look at it....


Hah! I remembered those times where cats in Mentakab are so fearful of me, clap my hands only also run like lipas kundung, missed those times la heee *grins* So, I pointed at it n gave it a scary look n kacao kacao abit at the fella, expecting it to give me the "Oh I'm so scared of humans! Better run away or not she'll step my tail n fling me across the road!" Of cus I won't do that okay? And then this fella instead of getting shock n start running away, it came cat-walking to me!!! Fuish, i think i'm more scared of the cat instead the other way round man! =D

Yea, but i don't think he's hot, call me an out-dater for the last hour of watching Wild Child, I don't care! As long as i got to watch rite? dah memandai lah.... i've been spending (more like wasting, ehehe =D) my time watching movies n series like siao ny this holiday. 1 week of holiday is NOT enuf. okay, the updates of how am i, where am i, what am i doing now, when am i going to update, who am i (nah...hehe) ?

Im fine here, everyday sweating like mad cow cos of the weather, telling u, form 4 is not an easy life now for me. I had this picture in my mind during youth worship, Esther was leading in worship n we sang "rain down" (who knows a familiar sang-a-thousand-times song could draw out a picture), a jar filled with water at full level simply came crashing down on the floor, slow mo, everything around it was pitch black. Oh man, I feel so kesian for it! Worst part, nobody was there to pick it up, nobody, I'd asked Jesus to pick it up, n He didn't pick it up, not yet, uh-huh. I realised, the broken piece of jar is me, broken inside out. I was wondering n peeff, the next song was "Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Saviour". This is the song that gave me the answer for the broken left-aside jar, the Lord is my potter.

Many freakin things I'm encountering now, do keep me in prayers okay, i'll try to keep the updates more soon. Appreciate for those who are always been praying for me, that's the best thing for you to help me. Thanks ;)

Blur but sure

Hey all, guess i reli didn't have time to blog, still settling down with "sweet 16" (pfft, ya think?) life in school - so many additional science subjects, so much of school works n tuitions =D coming back most of the time, 5pm, mana ada masa untuk self-study? Already plus tons of homework and tuitions, precious time has been taken up already, yet still gota squeeze some time. Everyday is a systematic day for me:

wake up-school- laugh wif frens- zombified- saturated wif new things i've learnt- homework- Quiet Time- prepare for tomorrowss- zz like a log (once hit the bed, rite away zz soundly =D)

With a glimpse of an eye, my first term exam is NEXT WEEK! bjrgghghrghhj....

"sweet 16"? Not.. BUT, actually quite fun lar :)

I'm gona enjoy my last two years as seniors in school, with all me dearest frens and fun-to-be-with teachers, all these, before stepping out of my comfort zone, out to college, and soon, the corporate world... okok, get back now, i'm still in sixteen yea! =D

Wait for more happenings to come for this March holidays okay? ;)

Now is the busy season for me, heh, nerdy, hectic, fun, blur but sure!!
