Giving Thanks

The word "thankful" can never describe enough really of how thankful, grateful and appreciative I am to the most wonderful One. He who took me by the hand to travel across the great wide oceans, all the way to a cold place called Boston in the United States.

Really? I'm actually living, breathing and surviving here for 6 months alreadyy!

The amount of friends, things and opportunities provided here from God are amazing. It is the quality, less of quantity. He shows me His love day by day through actions, as it is part of the love language I understand. Seeing Him at work- what He has given me, taught me and groomed me is an incredible part/moment of life for me now at this time, that when looking back one day, definitely, will thank Him over and over again. The only thing I'm worried sometimes is the plans that I make, that they might interfere His ones once in a while. And maybe my short-sightedness as well that bothers. 

Still feeling fascinated with all the experiences I have here.

Because of the past, I've always dreamt of meeting sincere and warm friends. And here they are :') God saw my tears and answered my prayers! :') Not only that, coming here alone alivee (yes, the exaggeration) without mama and papa and sister and bro is some major life event ever that happened to me, which is the beginning of that something great that I always believe. In due time. My storybook is slowly filling up by the awesome Author. I want to read yours too !

Good times!

First of all, I miss this! SMK Seksyen 3 Bandar Kinrara's DRAMA team. I went back to school for results and heard from juniors (which is now the seniors in school :P) that things are not the same anymore. Ah well, I know that feeling. Years past and team members changed, newbies and drama-actors-actress wannabe will be recruited. Mood changed. Different characters. But only one who did not change- Pn. Suneeta! :D The teacher-behind-the-scenes, whom she gave loads of encouragement to everyone. I've been in the team since 2006-2010 hee hee. Definitely stressful but with lots of funny, frustrating, embarrassing, emotional whatever moments you name it. Lots of wonderful memories in that good 5 years. Hey, I cherish my friends well :)

Aha! Caitlen, me like! Talented girl.

2008 drama- airplane crashed, ugly truths revealed story. This was the MOST memorable year : my face reacted to that make-up chemical, rashes eww...

2009 drama- family crisis with twisted plot story, incredible! We won for state level.

And the finale, I miss these models-wannabe. The one on the left, doesn't even know how to pose~ nyek nyek!

Month of December

Hello. These are the days that I don't have anything to blog about. But I would still like to update some things over here. Ain't want any cobwebs to appear in this blog, and of coarse the moving pairs of eyes that received information she-never-update-again-lah! , sending it to the cerebrum. I must have been missing my Biology quite awhile :)


Never heard any news from my dearest sister travelling across Germany and their neighbouring countries right now. Praying that the airport are not shutting down because of the heavy storm. Also, I had to dig up my dusty music sight-reading and scale books hidden in a box beside my piano for placement test in 3rd of January. Started to study some theory basics too which I had some time to retrace my memory from yesteryear's of learning music theory.


Christmas is also just around the corner. I had my last caroling with my bunch of wacky church clan. Sunday one was the most tiring. From 1.30pm right up to 12am. Pheew, good thing our throat survived. One thing that pinched at the corner of my heart was that this autism boy who sat in the midst of other children caught my attention. He smiled from ear to ear when he got a present from the church caroling team as if he just struck a jackpot! I wondered how many times do these kids get presents in their entire lifetime and counted myself as one blessed kid. See him in the white shirt looking at the camera? Christmas is a time to love.

Quickie Sprinkles of Updates

First of all...

INTERNET CONNECTION IS FRIGGIN' SLOW!! Gaaaah!

Okay, here's the really quick updates :) Bangkit album is gonna be released on the 16th September 2010, on... MALAYSIA DAY! It's a small gift to Malaysia. For those who supported me and my sista, once again thank you loads peeps :)

Next, Drama season 2010 is finalleee over babey! This year's was pweety awesome-

• we got to travel and hop in from buses to buses from school to PTPL university to MSU campus.
• we got to be STUFFED like stinky potatoes (bleack) in one small lecture hall together with 6 drama teams (15 ++ per team), a few debate teams and 20 choral speaking teams ( a classroom size per team! ) !! Excluding teachers?? *gulps*
• we got to be entertained by 3 spontaneous talented friends from Subang Jaya school while waiting for the closing ceremony. Those friends were awesome yet humble. A cool guitarist, a sweet singer and a funky dancer. Thumbs up! Love the cheer from the crowd.
• we got labelled as "selfish" by a random all-tensed-up teacher for sharing the toilet with three friends. Man, I could tell that she reeeeeeally had to go and pee!
• Also, we got to be the Johan :)

After 5 years involving hectically hectic and hysterically hysteria with Drama, with all the bittersweet and embarassing moments I had gone through with all my beloved friends, I'm sooooo gonna miss this when I'm out of school! Credits to our faithful Pn.Suneeta and the drama team, and to God in our prayers.

Die you frog! I meant, faint now thou, and we will slice thou openeth.

The pain was too intense to the point the victim went breathless and had to open its mouth hopelessly.

Conclusion :

• Yellowish stuffs? Not fats, but intestines.
• Greenish remnants? Other body parts
• We pulled its tongue out I think by accident
• We emptied out its organ and YET, its heart was still pumping. Cool!
• Our team was very successful, brave and corporative. We didn't cut off its head like the other team. Yuks!
• The headless frog was moving, it was still alive!!
• Some of the frogs were still alive when we "crucified" it on the styrofoams.
• Every 10 seconds, screams could be heard, not the victim but the murderer.
• One frog bit Pn.Norita's hand- that was the first scream
• Overall, a blast!

Roadtrip and back

Sunburned!!

I'm currently suffering from intense pain on my skin. Face, hands, legs and neck! After a day of roadtrip with the Ooh's n Wee's, happy and contented. Tired but loads of fun =D Since Esther is flying off to UK this week (Ulu Klang? haha), it's our last trip together-gether this year.

I'm feeling just like Lava Girl now.
