What to do with wish list

Have you ever come across to buying too many stuffs like... clothes and one day,
you decided to take a good look at the wardrobe and...
Oh my goodness !
A huge realization just dropped at the back of head the
'I bought TOO MANY CLOTHES!'
Some of them are even not worn before.

That's a good time to unsubscribe online shopping notification.
And even  the ones sent to the phone.
And... mails. And... newsletters.

I don't even wanna go to my shoes and heels section.
Really don't know how they all appear in my room.
Nobody wants to know what's in that $30 big blue trunk. The inside is spacious. Can fit Derrick in it :P
It's an amazing closet. The top basket even had some goodies in it.
Waitt I don't know how those things ended up there !
I err...
Eheh. Should cancel my wish list and stop creating new ones.

The States can sometimes be a shopping haven ! :(

Hati-hati

pokoknya, bukan semua orang kristian kristian. tau?

Bible study with the HS

Jesus Raises Lazarus From Death
38 Again feeling very upset, Jesus came to the tomb. It was a cave with a large stone covering the entrance.39 He said, “Move the stone away.”
Martha said, “But, Lord, it has been four days since Lazarus died. There will be a bad smell.” Martha was the sister of the dead man.
40 Then Jesus said to her, “Remember what I told you? I said that if you believed, you would see God’s divine greatness.”
41 So they moved the stone away from the entrance. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you heard me. 42 I know that you always hear me. But I said these things because of the people here around me. I want them to believe that you sent me.” 43 After Jesus said this he called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out. His hands and feet were wrapped with pieces of cloth. He had a handkerchief covering his face.
Jesus said to the people, “Take off the cloth and let him go.”

East-to-Read-Version
- John 11 : 38-44

Lazarus coming back to life is a miracle. Before the miracle happened, Jesus gave thanks to the Father. After giving thanks, then the miracle happened.

Give thanks in all situation, whatever the situation is.Thank Him with our hearts. Miracles will happen. If you believe, you would see God's divine greatness (v40).

When there's doubt, declare and proclaim God's goodness in our lives, in our situation. Faith as tiny mini mustard seed can. move. MOUNTAINS!!

Bible study with the HS this afternoon.

PS: Some miracles happened instantly, some according to God's timing.
Different people, different encounters.
As for this, it's for me and those who can relate this with me.

the Daphne

It took me almost 2 years to finally understand something.
That I be the Daphne God has designed me.
That all I have to depend on is Jesus.

I never felt comfortable to sweet talk the "in" groups so that I can be in it.
Not that I never tried, in some point of life there's the trial and error moment.
I thought that it was the way of life if you want to succeed- connections, friends, to get a job, recognition, promotion, being popular etc.
After all, having people like that really looks cool on a musician. Musicians die die also must have contacts kan? But I do not want to have my contacts by being who I'm not, and to compromise with things that I'm uneasy about and all. It ain't right for me.
But the more I tried, the more stifling I get. At the end of the day, I wasn't myself and it was like I had bind up my own hands and feet, and lived in darkness. What was so beautiful in the eyes of the Lord had been hidden inside by me, just to mask myself because I fear the fear of rejection and having to fail something. This ain't right for me again!
At the end of the day, being 假 is not what I want, even if it's just one bit of it.

Be unique, be authentic.

Friends of mine, they have really good mouths, and then I started to panic!
I'm not so a good speaker like them, but I do talk when it's necessary. I tried to be like them but it'll just make things funny.

So, I want to just be the Daphne that I'm comfortable with, the Daphne that God is pleased with.
If that person can succeed, I too can. I can because I have Jesus. As long as I remember Him, obey Him, He'll see me through all seasons of my life.
People's comments about myself won't bother me so much. The most important comment comes from my Father in Heaven, and my family whom I trust these people have no intentions to harm me but to help me grow.

Going out now to bring bro and family for Sammy's Adventure2 3D tonight. My treat because I got my gaji today nyeheh. Tata!

All Things are Possible

I hope it's not too late.

To...
Seek seek His will for me.
Love Him wholeheartedly again.
Trust Him completely even when it don't make sense.
Know Him as my Creator.
Understand why am I here for.
Give all glory to Him and His kingdom with my life.
To put on my best attitude for Him.
To be a better daughter to both my earthly parents and heavenly Father.
To do my best, give my best with all I have.
To use the talents, gifts and skills He entrusted me to serve others.
To love others because He first love me. I'm dearly loved by Him. The greatest love He has ever shown to me is through His suffering and death on the cross. He overcame the grave to find my soul.
Lean on His wisdom; search for it, His wisdom, like precious treasure.
Run to Him for safety and shelter. God is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, my horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
To pursue after you and
To live up to your values and standards and not of this earth's.
To refocus on the things needed to focus, before it all becomes too late.

All things are possible. God can fix things when we allow Him to do so. Believe and receive.
"Believe God loves you and made you for His purpose. Believe you were made to last forever. Believe God has chosen you to have a relationship with Jesus, who died on the cross for all of us. Believe that no matter what you've done, God wants to forgive you. Receive Jesus into your life as Lord and Saviour. Receive His forgiveness for your sins. Receive His spirit, who will give you the power to fulfill your life purpose." Rick Warren.

I'm fearfully and wonderfully made by God, crafted and designed in detail for His work.
Why You so amazing wan?? :)

Freedom of choice, but be wise

I have my own freedom and choice to mix around with who I'm comfortable with right?
As long as I know I'm aware of what kind of company around me, if we can click, and that I'm happy to be with them and the best part is that- I can just be my normal self.

I'd say : Stick with them and treasure the friendship! Life is short, so appreciate these people around.

Being a glutton (again!?)

So, I gotten myself into food poisoning because I was a glutton.
Am...
Still am...

It was after dinner yesterday at Kota Kemuning with my family and I persuaded them to go for the dessert restaurant. Little did I know, the Fu Chok Barley that I've ordered eventually turned both dad's and my stomach up-side-down today. I think it was that bitter Ginko and the diluted Fu Chok that the cook might have been reboiling it for who knows how many times already.

Dad's one was more severe than mine because he ate most of it.

We both woke up early this morning, had diarrhea at the same time, kept lying on the bed and slept for the whole morning (we both didn't know what we went thru' this morning actually) until around 12pm, he came into my room. From there, I complained to him about my stomach and my head was in pain and he told me the same thing about himself too.

Feeling so bad about what had happened, he asked me to make him some orange smoothies, without ice of course. Yes, I did make him one, and for myself too. Yogurt is good for our stomach. I hope that this friendly bacteria helps our stomach and we're back to normal tomorrow.

Sowree!

Now, I have two food-phobia : Fu Chok Barley and Mango with Sticky Rice (this, another experience that I had in one of the road side food in Bangkok, Thailand 2 years ago)

The Balancing Pair

I'm really blest to have such wonderful parents.
I'm saying this not because of the whole Valentine's day yesterday or what hehe :P
I appreciate them for being my parents and for raising up 3 kids and sticking up for each other through thick and thin.

It's my dad. Whenever I have a situation to solve, I'll always go up to him and catch him to sit down and talk with me, before he goes off praying or to work or to watch Warta Berita (I call it "water bitter" when I was a kid until now @.@ because it sounded like it when daddy said Warta Berita in a fast manner. Sigh, the product of a child's upbringing in an English-speaking family hehe).

There's one that came up today. I was thinking of whether to join tribute this semester. I think it would be really fun- I get to learn new stuffs, stress together with the team, laugh and go nuts with the Icom bunch of musicians, stay up late to practices, eat Chicken Chop Chicken Rice for dinner, be part of the cool team etc. But I have a scholarship audition coming up, my LYPG (Local Youth Prayer Gathering, a prayer movement for the nation) commitment, my weekly accountability group Skype prayer meeting, church worship team commitment, and a whole bunch of stuffs to improve like, my techniques and improvisation. I still have to figure out and make some time to learn how to use a Kronos. But then again, tribute is only until April, it'll be done really soon and I can have my time back. But if I join tribute, I will struggle with time management and exams and all the commitments and the stuffs that I need to do.

Both are actually good and beneficial to me. But I know that I have to choose what is better for me. I don't like to put too many "food" on my "plate", I might just "throw up" everything and all will be ruined.

So daddy is always here to help me and to discuss and ask me questions so that I'll have a clearer mind to handle a situation like that. Those questions and views he gave have deepen my analysis. I like how he helps me to see and balance up my intuition, thinking and judging skills. I learnt a lot every time I hear from him, his views and reasons, besides all the Bible knowledge He has and that we will sit up late talking about the big God above and life, he also taught me practical steps, thinking and reasoning and being realistic.

He also told me that he wants to hear all my problems and to guide me and figure things out together. I guess he really love being a father :) This also reminds me of the big Father in heaven who is eager to hear from us.

Mom was in school for extra curriculum. She's the best too I would say. I love her cooking and the time spent with her whether it was just a short ride in the car or shopping or hanging the clothes together. She taught me mostly about relationships with people and the emotional issues :)

So I have this awesome balancing pair, mom and dad, to guide me in handling real-life matter and how to rise up from all these and look to God always.

Sometimes it's really funny to know that they never burden us (me, Esther and Derrick) with the stress of life eg. excelling in our education, be good kids etc. and it was the other way round. I think some times we push ourselves a little too hard. We stress our own selves. Farnieeeey!

What risk?

First, running a temperature during exam was so so not what I had in mind. Watery mucus dripping all over, irritation in the throat and cracked voice box?? Gaah, I thought it was bad. Why not getting fever for trials instead of the real REAL spm... But, it was a good thing though. I couldn't study hard for Sejarah paper on Wednesday night, I couldn't afford to rely on the more-than-ten-messages Sejarah tips my good friends had sent to me, one of it "SOALAN BOCOR DARI JOHOR". So I chucked my hand phone aside, prayed hard and risked myself for nightmare the next day.

I thought I took a big risk to trust God and not the tips. Actually, the real risk was trusting on the tips and not God.

When I sat for the paper, none of them matched the tips and I leap for joy because I trusted Him :) all the last minute memorising what I thought was important came out for SPM whee! God is great, all the time! Maybe if I weren't sick, I would have trusted the tips and not God, and that will be the biggest risk.

Gardening?

Due the excessive blurness...

Please click on this link for my new post of the day. I blogged into my cousin's account by accident! And, where and how on earth I created his blogging account without realising it?!
I couldn't afford to take another 20mins to re-blog, pfft.

So much for overcoming my blurness -.-

Even in tuition my friend gota point at my paper, telling me "where we are" now @.@

Gah...

"Choke" of the day

Yeap, I was savouring a piece of dark chocolate, sized as big as a "STUDENT" eraser. Well, I nimbled 1/5 of it, then I decided to stuff the whole big piece into my mouth. Being lazy to nimble it slowly, why not suck and let it melt in my mouth right? HUGE mistake! It nearly took my breath, more like my life away.

I was talking to my friend half way, by accident I inhaled air through my mouth (probably laughing?) and *GULPS* that 4/5 piece of chocolate sized as big as an eraser went straight down my oesophagus without any warning! Waw!! Getting up quickly, I dashed into my house and grabbed whatever liquid that is left on the dinning table. I swallowed two to three times at first on my way, not working! It went down, oh yes, but very painfully. The next thing I know, I wasn't breathing at all! Of course, water! My throat was dry. Surely, that piece of hard chocolate wouldn't go down well. It went down with a horizontal position, and I still can't breathe. I know the Lord has been with me. He told me to cough it out. Cough it out?! OKay! With my painful oesophagus, *COUGHS* on the food where my family members were eating.

"@#$%^**^&%$" ( Definitely not bad words, just some teguran by all of them )
They didn't know what I had went through.
After telling them what had happened, they went "Ooh" and "Wa!" and thanked God.

Oesophagus still painful, and too shocked to recall back. It was a hard but good lesson today.

In a split second, anyone could die of food choking. So please consume slowly, even it's just a small piece/chunk of food. Never take for granted of anything. This is the Choke of the day, not Joke of the day, seriously.

Thank God He was with me, if not, I'm back with The Lord and no longer blog here anymore.
=)

Simple prayer to Jesus

We had combination of Bio, Physics and Chemistry quiz competition today (ranking from my best subject, heh). I've got no intention for this competition, quiz starting at 9am, and I've got to know that I'm in (the whole class diwajibkan, blur the whole day) at 8.55am! Best timing huh!! So, I was in Black group (we actually switched, nyek nyek!) Soon, the big brains were working hard, slumber hard for the quiz. Winner gets hamper. I said a simple prayer that we'll at least win something, and left the results into Jesus's hand. After prayers, I kept hearing my friends uttering "die lah, won't win wan.." "We're not that smart also la..." "i think we're the dumbest group..." or something like that, and I kept binding those curses that took away the blessings of my prayer just now. Actually, I also never hope much of winning anyway, all of us didn't study of flip through =D BUt I just hope in Jesus. I've counted approximately 4 times, words of discouragement were being uttered unintentionally. Results were out, we've got 1st-runner-up! Lost by 4marks to the champion!

For our drama case, a few of us gathered ourselves to pray that we'll win champion, hoping in Jesus, not only we won champion, plus best performer! Even when playing games in our MYF (abit kiasu haha!) I remember to pray that my group will win, and yep we did win! I think I've blogged about my prayers being answered for not getting leech bites, and how miraculous a S-size YLDP 2008 t-shirt popped out for me!

Just simple prayers and by believing them, our prayers will always be answered by Jesus. That just brings me more hope to pray everyday, about everything-studies, health, life, family, friends, ministry, future partner etc.

;)

Let Us.

The Lord is always with me. He reminds me how great His works are and how privilege am I to be part of His wonderful works. He will take good care and watches over me.

Man I just ain't wanna miss the boat, the boat of His doing =D
In my prayers, I asked Him to show me His greatness and glory, I wanna see!
By trusting His instructions will keep us off the wrong paths that can lead only to destruction.
Key words : Obedience, Trust, Patient and Faithful.
Rejoice in The Lord :)

The one-day thing

Today, I had this road-to-know lesson, guess where I've succeeded in directing my cousin?

To Sunway n Esther's college in Subang Jaya! Haha!
Great achievement for me ;) It's all in the Wee's genes-low sense of direction especially on roads and unfamiliar places eg.hotels, malls etc.

Feeling happy cus I agak-agak tau direct people to 1U too, and all just in ONE day! Yea baby~! Go straight straight straight only rite..

Anyway, I'm "sesat-ing" to put up the video clip recorded during the gathering. Anyone?

A simple prayer.

Just a short one, i said my prayers yesterday that I'll have nasi lemak for breakfast, outside my school stall, the best for me.. cuz i've been wanting to have that since one week plus plus ago, haha.. yep, u guessed it that i was lazy to buy my own and eat, especially in school (cuz we eat in class, hoohoo! a lil difficult to do such big business without getting caught..)
Daddy bought nasi lemak todaY this morning!
Whuah!
I'd just asked him what makes u buy nasi lemak.
He just answered me :I'm not too sure, the Holy Spirit prompt me to get for my daughter.
Double Whuah!
I'll never forget what daddy just said.
Then i told him what i'm telling u all now ;)
Praise Him, just a simple prayer, God will not never answer it by His will =)

Seven to Eight :)

PMR TRIALS
+
Yuess! Buh-bye these, hello that!
PMR!

+

Not that I dislike or hate theory thaaaat bad, it's just that i had to add extra effort!
Done with it, this whole week anyone who talks to me could see the big word "EXAMINATIONS!" on my forehead.
One after another. Pfft.
But it was amazing, really, i finalleee grasped hold of what's "done my best, let Him do the rest!" and also "Trust trust trust n thank Him for the super-memory"
Without realising those difficult questions, I aimed my M-16, gave my best shot in every first attempt, and most of them were the right "sasaran(s)" YEA!

Change - A better person

Acts of love and devotion can make us better people ... works, no matter how devout, are useless without faith -Dave Egner

It is very easy for me to stray away from the meaning of praying. It then becomes a daily chore or, in other words a routine for me.

Everyday i wake up, I know what to do- say my morning prayer, but with pauses in between.

??

Slept in between.

I'm good in reciting my prayers automatically even I'm not awake!! -meaningless.

My lips are moving, but my mind is not awake yet.

This passage came to me as i spent my quiet time.

It is not that i don't believe in Jesus, it is just that no matter how well i prayed, how many times i've prayed, but becomes a routine for me, prayers become meaningless.

It is super bad, yea i know. Someone waiting eagerly for me to communicate with Him and yet i take it so lightly. Right now, I need to change my habits of sleep-praying.

Stinky No More!

The demands of the day-to-day living like my school work running up and down,

House chores (good thing mummy employing a maid soon, hehe),

The amount of effort i need to put for my theory exams and

Other tinnie minnie bits of things that drive me up the wall..

yep yep i admit it, sometimes i just go "Oh, too late, i need to get atleast 6-7 hours of sleep, no need spend QT"

or will go like

"aiks, today's writter need like, 101% focus to un what he's saying" and also

"God will un (understand) me lah..."

True, He will un me, but my 10 minutes on my hair, 15 mins of brushing teeth and washing up, 5 mins of staring at the mirror, 3 mins staring in the ceiling, 2mins walk here walk there ...... idling around..

..... ... .......

i could have use those mins for my QT rite?

So i need Restoration..The purpose of setting asied time to be alone in God's presence each day.

See this-----

And come back to get my supply replenished...

Oh, and,

Lamentations 3:23
"But when we awake in the morning, His mercies are new n fresh"

Gota remember this clearly.

Sometimes, we may feel like a refrigerator. Keeping left overs for so long and it got rotten and stale up the whole fridge, stinky!

That is why, Psalm 63:7 says As I lie on my bed I remember You (which is not anything else, it'll just make us emotionally n spritually tired, the whole night until the next day). I think of You all night long (through this we can rest- by counting His blessings).

What is happening?

Did you read The Star? Inflation, famine, riots, killing here and there, and and, human beings doing sex at such young age, saying that it's one of their culture of some festivals of theirs!

The world is terrible. But it'll soon end. Second coming of Christ is near. Many said that this, our generation will be a revival in God's sight. Nobody knows. Only The One knows. We just have to get ready now when the time has come. So, start to deposit in the bank of Heaven with our faith of gold.

Andrew reminded me about the vision God gave to me, sharing the gospel on a meadow flooded with people. As I reflect about it, a little doubt came in that says how can I make it happen? When it happened, am I sure I can make it, to finish off this task that is given to me? To be able to hang on and be steady with Him even trials and tribulations happen to me? What more about persecutions? I've thought about it 2years ago, and now it came back again.

But what i've learn this time is to stop clinging onto my disabilities. Stand up and follow Him-Michael Card (Our Journey).

--I'm struggling in my studies. Oh, it's common. I think I'd just pass. Cannot! I need to pass with excellent results!

--I hope I can do it. I hope to bring these people to Christ. Why aren't they worshipping? Why aren't they listening? Needa buckle up. Focus focus, why cant i focus?

And then, in my quiet time....

Cease striving, chill out. Do not let the situation determine my emotional response. Calm down, God never ceases to be God.

With this i'd understand that no matter how big the issue is, how hard is the stormy waves on me, I must hang on to God. Worry and anxiety have never solved a problem. God is not surprise by anything that happens. This is what i got in my quiet time.

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"-Psalm 46:10

Mountain-moving Prayer

When u talk, it's not so much of animation where you go moving you body so much like a wriggling worm, or exaggerate your tone in speaking. It is more of in a calm and confident look and way when you present your speech. Right?!

I still don't understand why i'm not allowed to use queue-cards during my public speaking =(

Last year i got the highest score for my prepared speech WITH my queue-cards. This year?! My marks were deducted cause of The Queue-Cards!! What nonsense?

Not even any placing.

Felt discourage later when i get back from school. Funny, my disappointment came after everything is over. After all the efforts and drilling, going back to school for MORE practices in the hols, and yet i don't even get a placing! My beloved teacher, Pn Chang even prepared me bread with luncheon meat and cheese for breakfast =) really appreciate all her hard works and efforts, and the drilling on me too, how she spent her time on me.

But above all, before and during the comp, i was praying. I remembered a book by Bill Hybels-Too busy not to pray- taugh me this. Don't focus on the "mountains"- nervous and the talking part.

Change the focus and look to God.

Faith comes from looking at God, not at the mountain.

Instead of looking on the "mountains", i kept my eyes upfront and how God really works! There are joy and excitement when doing something together especially with your loved one -Jesus!- who really delivered me through the tough times. I've did it! To apply this concept!

I may lost in the eyes of the world, but im a winner in God's eyes. That is way way more important than a public speaking competition.
